III. General information on data processing

1. Scope of Processing Personal Data

We collect and use the personal data of our users only insofar as this is necessary for the execution of our contracts. After fulfilling contractual obligations, we process data only with the consent of the user. An exception applies in cases where obtaining prior consent is not possible for factual reasons, or where data processing is permitted by legal provisions.

2. Legal Basis for the processing of personal data

  • Where we obtain consent from the data subject for processing operations, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR serves as the legal basis.

  • For processing necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR serves as the legal basis. This also applies to pre-contractual measures.

  • Where processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation, Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR applies.

  • Where processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party, and the interests, fundamental rights, and freedoms of the data subject do not override that interest, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR applies.

3. Data deletion and storage period

Personal data of the data subject will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to apply. Data may be stored beyond this period if provided for by European or national legislation in EU regulations, laws, or other provisions to which the controller is subject. Data will also be deleted or blocked once a statutory retention period expires, unless further storage is necessary for contract conclusion or performance.
